Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organise Convention, 1948 (No. 87) - United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (RATIFICATION: 1949)

The Committee notes the comments made by Unite the Union in communications dated 2 August and 11 October 2013 and by the Public Service Union (Unison) in a communication dated 13 June 2013 on the application of the Convention. The Committee further notes the Government’s observations thereon in a communication dated 13 November 2013.

The Committee will examine the matters raised in these communications at its November–December 2014 session and invites the Government to provide a detailed report for next year.
