Seafarers' Pensions Convention, 1946 (No. 71) - Greece (RATIFICATION: 1986)

The Committee requests the Government to refer to its observation relating to the Social Security (Minimum Standards) Convention, 1952 (No. 102), and to indicate to what extent the economic crisis and austerity measures have affected the solvency and viability of the seafarers’ pension scheme, and to provide statistics on the financial situation of the scheme, the number of seafarers covered and the amounts of pensions.
