Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organise Convention, 1948 (No. 87) - Suriname (RATIFICATION: 1976)

Legislative developments. In its previous comments, the Committee had noted the entry into force of the Freedom of Association Act, 2016 and requested the Government to provide a copy thereof. The Committee notes that a copy of the Act has been transmitted by the Government. The Committee will examine the Act’s conformity with the Convention once a translation becomes available.
