Human Resources Development Convention, 1975 (No. 142) - France (Ratification: 1984)

The Committee takes note of the Government's report for the period ending 30 June 1988, containing an update of the information transmitted with the first report. It would be grateful if the Government would continue to provide information on any developments in the areas covered by the Convention, referring to the 1988 direct request and to the following points in particular:

1. Please provide additional information on the link between vocational guidance and vocational training policies and programmes and employment (Article 1 of the Convention), and indicate how effect is given to paragraph 4 of this Article.

2. Please provide particulars of the type of information made available for the purposes of vocational guidance as required by the provisions of this Article, and indicate more particularly how information and guidance is supplemented by information on general aspects of collective agreements and labour law (Article 3, paragraphs 2 and 3).
