With reference to its previous comments, the Committee notes the information supplied by the Government concerning Articles 2, 3 and 5 of the Convention. It requests the Government to provide further information on the following points.

Article 7. The Committee asks the Government to provide the Office with technical information on the definition and methodology used concerning the current statistics of the economically active population in accordance with Article 6.

Articles 9, 10 and 11. The Committee asks the Government to provide more detailed information on: (i) the annual survey which provides basic data for the average earnings index introduced in 1990, including the published statistics and information concerning their publication (as required under Article 5), and detailed description of the sources, concepts, definition and methodology used (as required under Article 6); and (ii) the amount of information on wage structure and distribution and on labour cost which can be obtained from the earnings index.

Article 12. The Committee requests the Government to supply the published statistics of the Retail Price Indices for all items and the major groups (as required under Article 5), as well as detailed methodological information relating to this series (as required under Article 6).

Article 13. The Committee asks the Government to supply more detailed information on the household expenditure survey particularly methodological information (as required under Article 6).

Article 14. The Committee requests the Government to provide (a) information concerning the types of data collected; and to indicate whether data relating to fatal injuries and time lost as a result of work injuries are collected or available and, if not, to indicate whether it is intended to extend the scope of the statistics to include this information. It also requests the Government to indicate whether employers' and workers' organizations are consulted in matters concerning these statistics (as required under Article 3). Furthermore, the Committee requests the Government to provide methodological information (as required under Article 6), and in particular, information concerning the source of the data, the concepts, the data collection processes, and the bodies responsible at the various stages of these processes.

Article 15. The Committee recalls that the Convention is applied with modification, as a result of which statistics of industrial disputes are not compiled. It would be grateful to the Government if it would provide information on any system which may already exist to give effect to this Article or on any plans in this connection, in accordance with Article 16(4).
