Human Resources Development Convention, 1975 (No. 142) - Tunisia (Ratification: 1989)

The Committee notes the information provided by the Government in its report received in September 2008. The Government reports the adoption of Act No. 2008-10 of 11 February 2008 respecting vocational training. This Act provides, among other measures, for the establishment of dual forms of teaching and training in schools and vocational training centres. The Committee invites the Government to provide information on the manner in which the collaboration of employers’ and workers’ organizations is ensured in the formulation and implementation of policies and programmes of vocational guidance and vocational training (Article 5 of the Convention). It also asks the Government to provide information on the results achieved in the field of vocational training through the implementation of Act No. 2008-10.
