The Committee notes the Government’s report which refers to the previous reports of the Netherlands Antilles, the legislation of which has been taken over by Sint Maarten since it obtained a new status within the Netherlands on 10 October 2010. The Committee would like the Government to confirm that the Decree respecting occupational diseases of 23 December 1966 (Landsbesluit Beroepsziekten), as amended, applies in Sint Maarten without any modification. Please indicate also whether the trades, industries and processes, which may give rise to the diseases or poisonings mentioned in the Schedule under Article 2 of the Convention, exist in Sint Maarten and, if so, provide statistics on the number of workers employed in these activities, and the number of occupational diseases that have been reported and the sums paid by way of compensation.
