Hours of Work (Commerce and Offices) Convention, 1930 (No. 30) - Syrian Arab Republic (Ratification: 1960)

The Committee notes the general human rights situation in the country as referred to in its comments under Convention No. 105. It aslo notes that the Government’s report has not been received. It hopes that a report will be supplied for examination by the Committee at its next session and that it will contain full information on the matters raised in its previous direct request, which read as follows:

Article 7 of the Convention. Permanent and temporary exceptions. The Committee requests the Government to refer to its comments relating to Article 6 of the Hours of Work (Industry) Convention, 1919 (No. 1).
