Articles 13, 14 and 18 (in conjunction with Articles 19 and 20) of the Convention. Amount of periodical payments. The Committee invites the Government to explain how it determines the skilled manual male employee in accordance with Article 19(6), specifying the amount of his earnings, benefits and family allowances under Article 19 of the Convention, in accordance with Parts I–V of the report form.
Article 21. Review of the rates of cash benefits. The Committee notes that section 234 of the Social Security Act was amended again in 2010 and provides that invalidity, old-age, total or absolute permanent incapacity, occupational risk and survivors’ pensions shall be increased annually from January each year on the basis of an increase coefficient (ranging from 4.31 per cent to 16.16 per cent, depending on the status of the pension). Survivors’ and orphans’ pensions deriving from general insurance and occupational risk insurance will be increased annually from January each year on the basis of an annual increase coefficient of 8.40 per cent. Partial incapacity pensions under occupational risk insurance and partial pensions under general insurance will be increased annually from January each year by a percentage equal to that of the previous year’s inflation. The Committee invites the Government to provide the statistical information requested under Article 21 of the Convention.
