The Committee notes that the Government’s report contains no reply to its previous comments. It hopes that the next report will include full information on the matters raised in its previous comments.

Part IV of the report form. Application in practice. The Committee, noting the Government’s first report, requests it to provide general indications on the manner in which the Convention is applied, including extracts from the reports of inspectors and, where such statistics exist, information on the number of workers covered by the legislation and other measures giving effect to the Convention, the number and nature of the contraventions reported, the number, nature and causes of the diseases reported, and any other indication useful for an understanding of the application of the Convention in practice.
