Application in practice. The Committee notes the Government’s report, which indicates that there has been no change in law or practice with regard to the application of the Convention. The Committee invites the Government to provide, as requested in Part V of the report form, a general appreciation of the manner in which the Convention is applied, including for instance extracts from the reports of the authorities responsible for the application of measures giving effect to the Convention, as well as any information available on the number of dockworkers on the registers maintained in accordance with Article 3 of the Convention, and variations in their number.

The Committee notes the Government’s report, which indicates that there has been no change in law or practice with regard to the application of the Convention since the previous report in 1998. The Committee requests the Government to provide in its next report, as requested in Part V of the report form, a general appreciation of the manner in which the Convention is applied, including for instance extracts from reports of the authorities responsible for the application of the measures giving effect to the Convention, as well as any information available on the numbers of dockworkers on the registers maintained in accordance with Article 3 of the Convention and of variations in their numbers.
