Allegations

The complainant organizations allege the slowness and ineffectiveness of administrative and judicial procedures in cases involving anti-union practices, the impossibility of exercising the right to strike given that most strikes are declared illegal by the judicial authority, discrimination in favour of permanent workers’ committees to the detriment of trade unions and numerous acts of anti-union discrimination in enterprises in the banana sector
