1. 75. At its 29th Session (November 1961), when it submitted definitive recommendations to the Governing Body with regard to the remaining allegations which were then still outstanding, the Committee recommended the Governing Body, with respect to the allegation relating to the suppression of a trade union newspaper, " to note that an application by the Aden T.U.C for a newspaper licence is now under consideration and to request the Government to keep the Governing Body informed of further developments in this connection ".
2. 76. In a letter dated 19 December 1961 the Government states that a licence for a weekly Aden T.U.C newspaper was issued on 10 October 1961.

The Committee's recommendations

1. 77. In these circumstances the Committee recommends the Governing Body to note with satisfaction that a licence for a weekly Aden T.U.C newspaper has now been issued.
