- 21. The allegations still outstanding relate to the arrest of several trade union leaders (Daniel Cabrita, Manuel Candeias, Alfonso Rodrigues, José Marcelino, Augusto Rosa and Maria-Júlia dos Santos) before the change of regime which occurred on 25 April 1974.

- 22. In its 149th report, the Committee observed that the new Portuguese Government had still not supplied information about the fate of these persons and had recommended the Governing Body to ask the Government for details of the present position.

- 23. In a communication dated 26 May 1975, the Government says that all these trade union leaders are now at liberty. In these circumstances the Committee recommends the Governing Body to decide that the case calls for no further examination.
