63. In a communication of 5 June 1981, the Federation of Associations of Medical Care Establishments of Greece alleged violation of freedom of association in Greece. The Government, for its part, forwarded its observations in a communication of 8 August 1981.
64. Greece has ratified the Freedom of Association and Protection of the Right to Organise Convention, 1948 (No. 87), and the Right to organise and Collective Bargaining Convention, 1949 (No. 98).

65. The complainant Federation alleged an infringement of freedom of association in respect of administrative measures taken to annul elections to the executive board of the Athens Medical Association.
66. In its letter of 8 August 1981, the Government indicated that the competent department of the ministry of Social Services consulted on the matter had informed it hat the Federation in question, composed of persons practising health-related professions, has nothing to do with Greek physicians.
67. In order to enable the Committee to reach a decision on the receivability of the complaint, in view of the terms of the Government's reply and in accordance with the procedural rules approved by the Governing Body at its 210th Session (May-June 1979), the Office communicated the Government's reply to the complainant Federation pointing out that complaints from a national organisation of workers are receivable only if the organisation is directly concerned with the question raised. It asked the Federation to supply any comments which it considered appropriate by 15 December 1981.
68. Since no comments have been supplied by the complainant Federation, despite the opportunity offered, the Committee considers that there are no grounds for examining the substance of this case.

69. The Committee recommends the Governing Body to decide that there are no grounds for examining the substance of this case.
