Article 5(1) of the Convention. Effective tripartite consultations. The Committee notes the information available on the website of the National Commission for Consultations and Collective Bargaining (CNCNC) concerning the tripartite consultations held between 21 December 2021 and 5 January 2023. According to the agenda of the meetings, tripartite consultations have been held regarding the possibility of ratifying the Nursing Personnel Convention, 1977 (No. 149); and the Violence and Harassment Convention, 2019 (No. 190). The CNCNC also discussed other matters related to labour legislation and social and economic policies, including the national minimum wage for 2023; the formulation, implementation and revision of national policy in accordance with Occupational Health Services Convention, 1985 (No. 161); and the alignment of the national regulatory framework on labour inspection to the relevant ILO Conventions. The Committee notes that the Government’s report does not contain information on the tripartite consultations held within the CNCNC on other international labour standards related matters as envisaged by Article 5(1) of the Convention, such as, notably, the replies to questionnaires concerning items on the agenda of the International Labour Conference (Article 5(1)(a); the proposals made in the context of the submission to the Parliament of the instruments adopted by the Conference (Article 5(1)(b)); or the questions arising out of reports to be made on ratified Conventions pursuant to article 22 of the ILO Constitution (Article 5(1)(d)).The Committee requests the Government to supply the above information.
