Convention (n° 160) sur les statistiques du travail, 1985 - Tchéquie (Ratification: 1993)

Article 9(1) and (2) of the Convention. Compilation of statistics of hours of work and wages. The Committee notes with interest the progress to which the Government refers in its report, with regard to the extension of the coverage of statistics on hours actually worked, collected by the Reports on Employment and Wages. The Committee requests the Government to communicate the above data to the ILO as soon as possible. It also requests the Government to indicate whether it is envisaged to produce statistics on time rates of wages from the Structure of Earnings Survey.

Furthermore, the Committee draws the attention of the Government to the Resolution I[2] concerning the measurement of working time adopted by the 18th International Conference of Labour Statistics in November–December 2008 which defines new concepts and measures in this area of statistics.
