Convention (n° 19) sur l'égalité de traitement (accidents du travail), 1925 - Gabon (Ratification: 1961)

The Committee takes note of the Government’s report. In order to better assess how Conventions Nos 12 and 19 are applied in practice, the Committee would be grateful if the Government would provide additional information in its next report on:

• -the mechanisms for notifying occupational accidents, including in agriculture;
• -the work done by the inspection services in investigating occupational accidents, including in agriculture;
• -the number of occupational accidents recorded in the country by branch of activity;
• -the amount of cash benefits paid in compensation for these accidents, including to victims residing abroad; and
• -the number and nationality of foreign workers employed in Gabon.
