Article 3(2) of Convention No. 26 and Article 3(3) of Convention No. 99. Participation of social partners in the operation of the minimum wage fixing machinery. The Committee notes that, in reply to its previous request, the Government indicates in its report that the National Consultative Committee on Employment (NCCE), established under the Employment (National Consultative Committee on Employment) Regulations and chaired by the Minister responsible for Employment, has been re-constituted in December 2022, following confirmation of most representative organizations of employers and workers. The Government also indicates that emphasis is being placed on ensuring that all policy decisions with national impact, including those related to minimum wage, are discussed at the NCCE before implementation. While taking due note of the information above, the Committee wishes to refer to its comments under the Tripartite Consultation (International Labour Standards) Convention, 1976 (No. 144) and requests the Government to provide concrete examples of the participation of social partners in the operation of the minimum wage fixing machinery, including full particulars on consultations held (for instance, number of meetings, participants, and relevant outcomes).
