Malawi

The Committee notes with regret that only six of the 17 reports requested have been received. Eleven reports are still due for this country including the first reports on Occupational Safety and Health Convention, 1981 (No. 155), Safety and Health in Agriculture Convention, 2001 (No. 184), Promotional Framework for Occupational Safety and Health Convention, 2006 (No. 187). The reports due are on fundamental, governance and technical Conventions, some of which should have included information in reply to the Committee’s comments. The Committee hopes that the Government will soon submit all its reports in accordance with its constitutional obligation and that they will respond to the Committee’s comments.
