Article 2(2) and (3) of the Convention. Raising the minimum age for admission to employment or work and age of completion of compulsory schooling. The Committee recalls that section 268(2) of the Labour Code No. 6/2019 raised the minimum age for admission to work to 15 years, in line with the age of completion of compulsory schooling (established at 15 years under the Basic Act on the Education System No. 4/2018). It notes with interest that the Government sent a declaration to the Director General of the ILO, notifying him that it has raised the minimum age for work to 15 years.
Article 3(2). Determination of hazardous work. The Committee notes the Government’s indication that there have not been any reports of violations relating to section 274(3) and Annex IV of the Labour Code No. 6/2019 containing the list of hazardous types of work prohibited to children under the age of 18 years.
