Labour Administration Convention, 1978 (No. 150) - Guinea (Ratification: 1982)

Articles 4 and 10 of the Convention. Further to its previous comments, the Committee notes the Government’s indication that, currently, the National Directorate of Labour, Employment and Labour Legislation, the General Labour Inspectorate, the National Social Security Fund, the National Occupational Safety and Health Service and the National Labour Observatory are under the authority of the Ministry of Labour and Public Service. The Committee also notes that the National Agency for the Fight against Corruption and the Promotion of Good Governance was created by Decree No. D241/2018/PRG/SGG and is directly under the authority of the President of the Republic. The Committee requests the Government to provide detailed information on: (i) the coordination of the services of the labour administration following its reorganization, and on the status, conditions of service and training of its staff; (ii) the measures taken or envisaged to ensure that staff will have the status, material means and financial resources necessary for the effective performance of their duties; and (iii) the activities of the National Agency for the Fight against Corruption and the Promotion of Good Governance.
