The complainant organization alleges several violations of freedom of association: imprisonment of trade union leaders; seizure of computer equipment and confiscation of information belonging to the trade union; suspension of several trade union leaders simply for exercising their legitimate trade union activities; interference in the activities of workers’ organizations, in particular in the trade union elections and during the Labour Day celebrations; favouritism of the authorities towards a trade union set up entirely by the Government; suspension of the right to strike during the electoral period
