Article 7 of the Convention. Application of the Convention in practice. Statistical information. The Committee observes that the Government has not replied to the previous observations of the Free Confederation of Workers of Chad (CLTT), which referred in particular to the absence or inadequacy of protective measures taken by employers to preserve the health of workers exposed to white lead. The Committee therefore requests the Government to provide information on the measures taken to ensure the protection of workers from exposure to white lead and on the application of the Convention in practice, including statistics on lead poisoning among working painters, information on any violations recorded during inspections, and the measures taken to remedy them.
