The Committee notes with regret that only 7 of the 21 reports requested have been received. 14 reports, including the first report on the application of the Work in Fishing Convention, 2007 (No. 188), were not received. Some of the reports due should have included information in reply to the Committee’s comments.

Recalling that technical assistance is expected to be provided this year on these issues by the Decent Work Technical Support Team for Eastern and Southern Africa, the Committee hopes that the Government will soon submit all its reports in accordance with its constitutional obligation and that they will respond to the Committee’s comments.
