Convenio sobre los representantes de los trabajadores, 1971 (núm. 135) - Türkiye (Ratificación : 1993)

The Committee takes note of the observations of the Confederation of Progressive Trade Unions of Turkey (DISK) and of the Confederation of Public Employees Trade Unions (KESK), received on 30 and 31 August 2025 respectively, and the responses of the Government thereto.

Article 1 of the Convention. Protection of workers’ representatives against anti-union dismissals. The Committee refers to its comments made under the Right to Organize and Collective Bargaining Convention, 1949 (No. 98), in respect of workers’ protection against acts of anti-union discrimination, and particularly those concerning massive dismissals in the public sector under the state of emergency decrees. The Committee firmly expects that the Government will actively take these comments into account in order to ensure full compliance with the present Convention and Convention No. 98.
