Convention (n° 154) sur la négociation collective, 1981 - République-Unie de Tanzanie (Ratification: 1998)

The Committee notes that the Government has not provided information in reply to its previous request of 2014 concerning the legal recognition of the right to collective bargaining in the public administration. Recalling that the Convention enshrines the principle of collective bargaining in both the public and private sectors, although it allows for special modalities in the public administration,the Committee once again requests the Government to take the necessary measures for the legal recognition of the right to collective bargaining in the public administration.
