Convention (n° 127) sur le poids maximum, 1967 - Honduras (Ratification: 2012)

The Committee notes the information provided by the Government in reply to its previous request regarding Article 7 of the Convention (young workers).

Article 8 of the Convention. Consultation with the most representative organizations of employers and workers concerned. Measures to give effect to the Convention. The Committee notes the Government’s indication, in reply to its previous request, that in 2023 the Secretariat of Labour and Social Security urged the Secretariat of Health and the organizations and members of the National Occupational Health Commission (CONASATH) to reactivate that Commission (which is currently chaired by the Secretariat of Health). The Government indicates that there is still interest in doing this and approaches have been made with a view to making the Commission operational again. The Committee requests the Government to continue providing detailed information on the process to reactivate CONASATH.
